Mission Statement 
The mission of Ballet Arts Ensemble, Inc., of Kalamazoo (BAE), a youth ballet company, is to provide educational and performing opportunities for its members while perpetuating the art of dance with an emphasis in ballet.

Brief History  
Ballet Arts Ensemble is a nonprofit, youth ballet company, established in 1982 by Jerre James and Bette Joachimi.  With the retirement of Jerre James in 2001, ballet mistress Cathleen Huling became BAE's artistic director.

Everyone will enjoy this wonderful pairing of the popular tale of Peter—who ventures out into a forbidden world and triumphs over the big bad wolf (thanks to a little help from his friends)—with Ms. Huling’s choreographic version of how quickly an elegant dinner party can go wrong that features a hilarious ending!
